Intelligent Utility Management gives power to consumers

Did you know, section 118 of the Municipal Act makes landlords ultimately responsible for debts to municipality, even when the account is not in the landlords’ name.

With this in mind and knowing that electricity prices have just increased by 24.8%. Are you unnecessarily exposing yourself to risk by giving your tenant an opened cheque for electricity use.

In real-terms, every electricity and water increase means an increase in the risk of arrears for landlords, body corporates and managing agents.

What is worse than a mother being raped and killed?

What is worse than a father or mother being killed while protecting their family?
Not catching these criminals, because they are going to do it again to another family.  Yes, I know what you going to say next. You going to say that even if they are caught, they are let out of jail to do it again.  I agree, but it would be nice to know, who and where they are, where they have run to, who their friends are?

BCPF - Update from Marina

Dear Bedfordview Residents

Just a couple of things:

1. Heartening News      Three suspects related to the robberies and murders in Kings Road and Harcus Road,  were positively identified yesterday by three families.  Whilst this does nothing to bring those who were killed back, it certainly does provide us all with a sense that the parties are behind bars, and that the trio task team has achieved a great result.  What I wasn’t happy about was the manner in which the identity parade took place ie: no glass between those identifying the suspects and the suspects, the long delay, and the fact that the families gave their names and addresses in front of the suspects.  This is unacceptable.  I shall be taking the matter up with Brigadier Sibiya at Germiston on Friday.
